The past five months (in a nutshell): Wedding. Move to Colorado. Make a home. Jared begins Seminary. Travel to various towns on weekends (when Jared preaches). Travel to Florida for Thanksgiving. Travel to various towns on weekends (when Jared preaches). Travel to Wyoming for Christmas. Purchase a new (used) car. Move to a new town in Colorado. Jared begins a Pastoral position. Make a home. Combined, we’ve fallen sick a total of five times in the past five months as well.
Jared and I packed up our little cabin, our sweet first home, and moved to a new town four hours east (near the Kansas border); we left New Year’s Eve and woke up in our new home New Year’s Day. Traded mountains for plains, a two room cabin for a three bedroom house (what do I do with all of this room, a dishwasher, a dryer/washer, and a tub!), and are in the process of getting settled again. We’re ever so thankful for the LORD’s provision for us through Jared’s new Pastoral position. We’re also very thankful for your prayers.
(I heard this song the other day, aptly entitled “Moving” by Secret Garden, and have designated it as our moving theme song. Enjoy.)
